The white wine Capellanía Gran Reserva Blanco Rioja DOCa, vintage 2018 from the winery Marqués de Murrieta has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 96 Falstaff points.
Pale straw yellow with silver reflections. Fine bouquet with fresh fruit such as apple and quince, a hint of white nougat, a subtle touch of vanilla and precious wood: an attractive bouquet. Textured and elegant, but with no traces of opulence, it has a silky texture and is creamy, with nuances of pear and yellow greengages. With a hint of coconut, it has fine minerality, is salty and has a long-lasting finish. A top-class white Rioja, already very easy to drink.
