The red wine Finca El Rubio, vintage 2022 from the winery Marqués del Atrio has been rated in 2025 by Benjamin Herzog & Dominik Vombach with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Graciano from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Intense, individual nose: dried plums, cassis, nuances of herbs and savourinesss, some star anise as well as notes of stewed plums. Quite elegant on the palate, again lots of dark fruit, subtle savouriness, very fine, harmonious tannins. Long finish with dark fruity and spicy nuances.
