Tasting Notes
Bright, powerful ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Inviting and intense nose with notes of cardamom, plum and raspberry, plus some pickled peach. Substantial and dense on the palate, opens with compact tannin in many layers, ripe, dark fruit, plus fine texture, in the finish there are emphatically earthy notes, long finish.
More about the tastingBright ruby red with a soft brightening on the rim. Notes of brown bread, mint, noble wood and light malt on the palate, then elderberries and cassis, plus some pepper on the aftertaste. Very polished and clear on the palate, opens with pithy tannins, grippy on the back, yet with fine sweetness, will be able to age indefinitely.
