The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Loreto DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Mastrojanni has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant ruby. Appealing nose with nicely ripened fruit notes, of dark cherry, some pickled plum, lots of blackberry, fine cloves in the background. On the palate there is a lot of finely meshed tannin which is very well integrated, seems polished and clear, crisp cherry, lingers long.
