The red wine Vigna Loreto Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Mastrojanni has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, rich garnet red. Appealing and accessible nose with rich notes of ripe cherries, wild raspberry and some leather, exciting. Also shows great tension on the palate, grippy tannin in many layers, hearty and profound, shows very good density, vivid fruit, firm drive on the finish.
