The white wine Maximin Grünhaus Abtsberg Riesling GG, vintage 2022 from the winery Maximin Grünhaus – Weingut der Familie von Schubert has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
The spiciness of the wine is still reserved, but hints at the splendour to come with herbal, spicy tones and aromas and a balsamic touch, almost incense-like slate notes. On the palate, a fine texture and ripe acidity are perfectly embedded in the supple body. Long, juicy, very mineral and brilliant!
