Rich, deep dark ruby with a slight purple tinge. Slightly cloudy nose, some pickled walnuts, plus tree resin and dried porcini mushroom. Shows lush sweetness on the palate, grippy, gripping tannins, a very lush Recioto, but quite rough overall.
