Dark ruby red colour with a light brightening on the rim. Intense nose of blackberries and dark cherries, and savoury notes of sandalwood and leather. On the palate with very grippy and bold tannins, juicy and persistent.

Open and very accessible nose, lots of ripe berry notes of cassis and blackberries, plus some dark tobacco, underpinned by spicy components. Very textured palate with grippy, hearty tannins and dark fruit, has very good ageing potential and lots of drive.
