The red wine Ghemme DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Mirù has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kien, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Clear garnet red with copper. Aroma of sour cherry paired with red bell pepper, somewhat resinous, truffle and light leather on the finish. Grippy on the palate, wiry tannins on the cheeks, full-bodied and dense, with a slight dryness at the back, ending on tart herbal notes.
