The red wine Vigna Cavenago Ghemme DOCG Riserva, vintage 2015 from the winery Mirù has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kien, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nebbiolo, Vespolina from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Rich, bright brick red with a dark core. Delicate red currant on the nose, paired with delicate herbal notes, then walnut and cedar. Engaging on the palate, grippy, slightly astringent tannin envelops the entire mouth, clarifying, somewhat rustic, with a minimal bitter almond finish.
