The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Mocali di Ciacci Tiziano has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
It has a luminous ruby red colour. There are aromas of clove, ripe plum, amarena cherry, and Christmas Stollen Cake, it is a very hearty and warm bouquet. It is robust and dense on the palate, spreading with a delicate creaminess and considerable structure over the tongue, although it is slightly drying on the aftertaste. It has a unique style of its own.
