The red wine Carnuntum DAC Reserve GÄA, vintage 2020 from the winery Nepomukhof has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle ochre brightening on the rim. Delicate fine oak nuances, dark forest berries, some liquorice, with a hint of cassis and sweet cherries, attractive bouquet. Deep, complex and juicy, ripe plums, round tannins, chocolatey and long-lasting, a full-bodied food wine with certain ageing potential.
