Tasting Notes
An intense, luminous ruby red. Fruity and aromatic, ripe sour cherries, red currants, sloe berries and dried rose petals. Expansive on the palate, fine fruit, good fruit texture, with well integrated tannins, full-bodied, animated, attractive, a slight fruit sweetness on the finish.
More about the tastingRadiantly fresh, fruity and complex aroma: wild blueberry, blackcurrant, elderberry, juniper, bouquet garni. On the palate it shows with vivid tannins and equally vivid sweetness. The wine made from dried grapes has a very good density and great fruit on the palate. However, its style is more Recioto than Amarone.
