The red wine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Orsumella has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese
Clear ruby with a slight garnet shimmer. Present, accessible nose, opens with notes of rose petals, ripe dark cherries and blackberries. Finely woven tannins on the palate, embedded in lots of sweet, texture fruit, flows calmly, with an aftertaste of incense.
