The sweet and dessert wine Muffa Nobile Orvieto Classico Superiore DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Palazzone has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points.
It has a rich, light golden yellow colour. There is a very appealing and complex nose of quince, baked apple, and lots of ripe apricot, with slightly savoury elements in the background. It is rich and round on the palate, with flavours of quince and ripe pear, a fine texture, and vivid fruit. It is not syrupy, and it has a beautiful interplay of elements.
