The red wine Barolo DOCG del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba, vintage 2018 from the winery Palladino has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright and brightening ruby red. Rich, profound nose of ripe raspberry, leather, then rich cassis and dried rose hip, with an inviting aftertaste of wet stone. Compact on the palate, full-bodied, with tightly woven tannins and bright savouriness, radiates a great deal of energy, wonderfully balanced on the finish.
