The red wine Le Coste di Monforte Barolo DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Parusso has been rated in 2014 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Rich, sparkling ruby with garnet shimmer. Opens on the nose with lots of ripe fruit notes, dried plums, pickled plums, some tobacco in the background. Round and full on the palate, shows a lot of sweet melting, ripe fruit notes, opens with gripping, grippy tannins, salty and profound, still needs ageing, but has great potential.
