The red wine Quelen Special Selection, vintage 2011 from the winery Perez Cruz has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser und Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Petit Verdot, Carmenère from the region Maipo Valley in Chile.
Ethereal savouriness, bouquet of Ricola, but also blueberry, quite fresh and a little jammy. Silky on the palate, while elegant and with intensely tactile minerality, well-integrated acidity, alcohol disappearing behind juiciness, a hint of youthful astringency in the transition to the finish showing further reserves and displaying grip and freshness. Brilliant balance and impressive minerality, and all with great length.
