Tasting from 18.02.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Rich, deep dark ruby with a slight purple shimmer. Opens with pronounced spiced notes of coriander seed and bay leaf, a somewhat metallic note, and lots of cassis. Beautifully drawn on the palate, there's lots of sweet texture wrapped around the fine-meshed tannins. Grippy and with firm drive on the finish.
