The red wine Vignaferrovia Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Pian delle Vigne has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Shimmering ruby red with purple reflections. Compact and complex on the nose, with notes of ripe plum, coffee beans and dark chocolate as well as a hint of leather, then with a little air, a touch of mint. Concentrated and powerful on the palate, with fine tannins, animating, dancing acidity and a savoury, persistent finish.
