Tasting from 18.03.2016: Othmar Kiem

Brilliant ruby with a fine garnet sheen. A compact and appealing nose of ripe cherry and some raspberry, with clearly defined fruit. Coriander seed and cinnamon spice emerge in the background. The palate brings fine-meshed, dense tannin that builds in many layers until it's gripping and hearty but still finely textured. Good drive on the finish.
