The red wine Barolo DOCG Mosconi, vintage 2018 from the winery Piero Benevelli has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Dark ruby red with subtle brightening on the rim. Initially earthy on the nose, then elegant notes of ripe cranberries, mint, confit strawberries and leather. On the palate grippy, tightly woven tannins, still very young. Bold and dry on the finish, needs time.
