Tasting from 07.10.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Shimmering ruby red core with subtle brightening on the rim. A rather closed nose closed at the beginning, then opens up to magnificent pickled and sugared cherries, wild berries and slightly meaty-spicy tones with dried, sweet, tomatoes. The palate offers gripping, tightly woven, very youthful tannins. Rustic nuances will quickly evolve and a focus on elegant red berried fruit-tea and saline notes on the long finish.
