The white wine Terre di Sampaolo DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Piersanti has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Verdicchio Bianco from the region Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi in Italy.
Intense straw yellow colour. An appealing nose of ripe fruit, with apricot, pineapple, banana, and also a slight honey touch in the background. It is consistent and structured on the palate, with lots of traction and power. It unfolds beautifully, has nice sweet fruit, and it seems to linger indefinitely on the finish.
