The red wine Santo Spirito Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Pietradolce has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright ruby red with garnet reflections and an orange rim. The nose is fragrant with blood orange, rosehip and a hint of raspberry, accompanied by sage and thyme, with a hint of nutmeg. Elegant and delicate on the palate, with animating freshness and juiciness, the tannins are very well integrated and end with herbs on the finish.
