The red wine Santo Spirito Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2023 from the winery Pietradolce has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Shimmering, light garnet red colour. Lots of warm fruit on the nose, with aromas of Mediterranean herbs and some cold smoke. Lies silky on the palate, with a ripe fruit centre and very fine tannins, mouth-watering acidity through to the very juicy, long finish.
