Medium ruby colour, purple reflections, broad ochre rim. Ripe red wild berry confit, candied orange zest, a hint of blackcurrant in the background, fine minerality. Juicy, elegant, very Burgundian, a Clos-de-Bèze from New Zealand, great persistence, sweet fruit, with good further ageing potential. It has great style.
