The red wine Pittacum Bierzo DO, vintage 2010 from the winery Pittacum has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Bierzo in Spain.
Very dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate watery rim. Initially somewhat reserved, dark berry fruit, some herbs and nougat, mineral notes. Complex, juicy, black fruit, present tannins, noble chocolate touch on the finish, good ageing potential.
