Clear ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Somewhat cool, slightly restrained nose, shows pronounced notes of fresh plums, some blackberry, plus savoury cardamom. Substantial and dense on the palate, finely meshed, very well integrated tannin, builds long, firm drive in the final, long finish.
