The red wine Barolo DOCG Romirasco, vintage 2017 from the winery Poderi Aldo Conterno has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Clear, rich ruby with a pronounced garnet rim. Very intense and dense nose of white truffle, fine savoury herbs, then lots of blackberry and leather. Round and supple in the attack and on the palate, with lots of fine, grippy tannins, building up in many layers, some blood orange, dark raspberry, full-bodied drive on the finish.
