The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Poggio Torselli has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby with a slight purple shimmer. Intense nose, opens with slightly smoky notes, then blackberry and dark currant. Compact, dense tannins, but appears slightly brittle and drying on the finish, angular.
