The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Poggio Uliveto has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, clear ruby red with copper coloured reflections. A bouquet of date and blackberry confit, then rose hip, a hint of mocha. Lively on the attack, with finely structured tannins, juicy on the palate, powerful in the body with a dense structure, finishes somewhat bitter.
