The red wine Terre del Buontalenti Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Poggiotondo has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo nero from the region Chianti in Italy.
Bright ruby red with brick-red accents on the rim. Delicate aromas of black cherry and cedar wood on the nose, then black pepper and light coriander seed, tar on the finish. Expansive on the palate, somewhat rustic tannins, medium length and decidedly savoury on the finish.
