The red wine Metamorfosis Collio Rosso DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Primosic has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Intense ruby red. Leather, elderberry, black tea on the nose, then again cassis and pepper, complex and multi-layered, with a delicate black truffle finish. Juicy on the palate, with a multi-layered finish and plenty of drive, has come together very well, long finish.
