Rich ruby with a fine violet sheen. Intense nose with pronounced spicy notes, lots of cloves, some sandalwood, then lots of ripe cherry, also tobacco. Firm, gripping tannins on the palate, hearty, lots of cherry, still needs time to mature, but has very good potential.
