Rich, impenetrable ruby purple; very intense and compact nose with notes of blackberries, pickled cherries, roasted hazelnuts in the background; shows intense fruit on the palate, unfolds with soft tannins, very good depth, salty, lots of cherry fruit in the finish, makes you want more.
