Dark ruby, purple reflections, slightly watery rim. Delicate tobacco aroma underlying red berry confit, nuances of cherry, dark minerality, still somewhat restrained. Substantial, subtle caramel, fine red berry, forest fruit confit, fine tannins, taut and persistent, nuanced salty touch in the finish, great length, still needs time.
