Tasting from 27.08.2021: Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter

Strong ruby in colour with purple reflections and a delicate, watery rim. Inviting dark berry aromas have a floral touch, with a hint of candied violets, subtle dried spices like thyme and lemon balm, as well as red cherries and raspberries in the background. Taut and elegant, it shows good complexity and a finesse-rich structure, and is carried by ripe, delicately chalky tannins. There is both a fine sweetness and a savoury touch to the finish. Excellent length. (Drink now until 2040) .
