The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Querciabella has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Chianti in Italy.
Brilliantly bright ruby red. The finest roasted aromas adorn the nose, along with fresh cherries and raspberries, very red fruity character with minimal savoury notes of cardamom and light leather. Full-bodied on the palate, very dense and extremely taut on the palate, tightly woven tannins paired with fresh acidity, hearty on the palate, balanced and long-lasting on the finish.
