The red wine Boa-Vista Reserva Douro DOC, vintage 2013 from the winery Quinta da Boavista has been rated in 2017 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Touriga Nacional from the region Dao in Portugal.
Very closed, a hint of port, herbal-spicy notes. Lots of mealy tannin, which hardly appears as astringency due to the fullness of the wine. Powerful body and mild acidity. The complexity and intensity of the fruit on the palate lags somewhat behind the usual volume - but the spiciness and opulence of the wine will come to the fore as it matures.
