The red wine Palha-Canas Tinto, vintage 2013 from the winery Quinta da Boavista has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Castelão, Camarate rot from the region Dao in Portugal.
Penetrating and multi-layered bouquet with ripe blackberry, roasted coffee beans, forest floor and vanilla. Shows its somewhat undomesticated and authentic character with a strong structure, pronounced tannins and tannic acidity, a rustic charmer.
