The red wine Reserva Vinho Regional Alentejo Tinto, vintage 2017 from the winery Quinta Do Paral has been rated in 2019 by Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Syrah, Petit Verdot from the region Alentejo in Portugal.
Still very closed, with a reductive character. Discreet oak aroma, herbal savoury notes, juniper, maquis, with some cassis and blueberry. Taut construction, definitely also with a suppleness, but not over-accentuated, and a high amount of fine-grained tannins and a lot of juiciness give the wine a certain energy. It is still compact, but already aromatically complex, and it has very good length.
