The red wine Tinto Douro DOC, vintage 2013 from the winery Quinta do Vale Dona Maria has been rated in 2016 by Martin Kilchmann with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region Douro in Portugal.
Still closed on the nose, port wine-like cherry fruit. Green pepper. On the palate with sandy tannin that densely fills the wide body frame, homogeneous and round with rather restrained acidity, currently seems unimpressive, but has certain ageing potential.
