Dark, inky ruby, almost black, opaque core and purple reflections. A very engaging bouquet with intense nuances of blackberry, subtle violet and liquorice, mineral notes and ripe black cherries in the background. On the palate, sweet fruit and a very elegant texture, perfectly balanced by the fine grained tannins. A very long finish with hints of chocolate, dark berry confit, spice and nuances of lavender. Developing beautifully with definite further ageing potential.
