Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Fine dark forest berry fruit, gentle hints of caramel and nougat, ripe cherry underneath, a fig note and candied orange zest. Juicy plum fruit, sweet cherry, silky texture, some fig, round tannins, elegant, with pronounced fruit on the finish. Already drinking well this has definite ageing potential.
