The red wine Ortone Colli Euganei DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Quota 101 has been rated in 2021 by Kiem Othmar, Staffler Simon with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc
Dark, shiny garnet red with an impenetrable core. Inviting bouquet of Amarena cherries and black elderberries, with hints of tobacco and tamarind, liquorice in the background. It opens up comfortably on the palate, dense and textured, opening up to fine roasted aromas on the somewhat gruelling finish.
