Strong ruby garnet, violet reflections, ripe plums on the nose, somewhat leafy underneath, powerful on the palate, somewhat rustic texture, dried fruit echoes, firmly structured finish, grapey notes in the aftertaste. A good, inexpensive introduction to the world of Douro red wines.
