The port Duas Quintas, vintage 2017 from the winery Ramos Pinto has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tempranillo, Tinta Barocca, Trincadeira from the region Douro in Portugal.
Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose an inviting bouquet of dark berry confit, a hint of spices and nougat. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe plum fruit, a fresh structure, and mineral finish, with a chocolaty aftertaste.
