The white wine »Edition R« Pinot Gris, vintage 2021 from the winery Remstalkellerei eG has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Gris from the region Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany.
A ripe aroma, notes of orange confit, Turkish honey and chestnut purée. In the mouth, the wine has a comparatively austere structure with pithy acidity and slightly green phenolics, the aroma remains (still?) on the defensive, but the structural length is quite good, the finish is sinewy and juicy.
