Sparkling ruby with garnet shimmer. Fine nose with notes of ripe cherries and fresh plums, with hazelnuts in the background. Plucky and hearty on the palate, opens up with lots of dense tannins, fine mineral depth, but then somewhat rough and uncouth on the finish, still needs time.
